About PARDEP-Nepal
Poverty Alleviation and Rural Development Programme (PARDEP-Nepal) is dedicated to equitable, sustainable, and community-led development across eastern Nepal.
PARDEP-Nepal is a non-profit, non-political, non-governmental organization registered with the District Administration Office, Dhankuta, and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council. Established in 1995 by committed youth and development professionals from eastern districts, it champions inclusive rural transformation through a human-rights-based approach.
Over nearly three decades, PARDEP-Nepal has partnered with communities across Dhankuta, Bhojpur, Tehrathum, and Sankhuwasabha districts. Our programs span income generation, public health and sanitation, drinking water infrastructure, literacy and civic awareness, local governance, women empowerment, and gender equity.

To conduct extensive, intensive, and participatory processes for equitable and sustainable development through the holistic empowerment of rural poor, disadvantaged groups, and women.
